Report on Google Ads portfolio bid strategies

To report on the performance of Google Ads portfolio bid strategies from Search Ads 360, you can:

  • See and compare performance of all portfolio bid strategies
  • Focus on a specific bid strategy

Compare performance of all portfolio bid strategies

  1. Navigate to a Google Ads engine account.
    Steps for navigating to an engine account
    1. In the left navigation panel, click All accounts.
      What if the left navigation pane isn't visible?

    2. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    3. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    4. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser that contains the engine account.

    5. In the "Account" list, click on the engine account.

    6. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Search Ads 360 displays the engine account page.

  2. Click the More ▼ tab, and then and click Google Ads bid strategies.

    The reporting table displays engine metrics attributed to each Google Ads bid strategy in the report's scope. For example, if you navigated to a Google Ads engine account, you'll see all Google Ads bid strategies that have been applied to campaign, ad group, or keyword in the engine account.

  3. To view data about conversions (applicable to CPA and ROAS strategies):
    1. Click the Columns button above the performance summary graph.
    2. In the Available columns list, click ▸Conversions, then click Google Ads.
    3. Click + next to a column name.
    4. Click Apply.

Focus on the performance of a specific portfolio bid strategy

To view details about the performance of a specific portfolio bid strategy:

  1. Navigate to a Google Ads engine account.

    3. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    4. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser that contains the engine account.

    5. In the "Account" list, click on the engine account.

    6. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

    Search Ads 360 displays the engine account page.

  2. Click the More ▼ tab, and then and click Google Ads bid strategies.

    The reporting table displays engine metrics attributed to each Google Ads bid strategy in the report's scope. For example, if you navigated to a Google Ads engine account, you'll see all Google Ads bid strategies that have been applied to campaign, ad group, or keyword in the engine account.

  3. Select the check box of the Google Ads portfolio bid strategy that you want to focus on.
  4. Above the reporting table, click Filter to selected.

    The reporting table now displays metrics only for campaigns, ad groups, or keywords that are managed by the bid strategy in the filter.
