Segment reports

How to segment reports

  1. Navigate to a reporting table that displays performance metrics.
For example, navigate to a campaign and click the Keywords tab.

Steps for navigating to a campaign
    1. In the left navigation panel, click All accounts.
What if the left navigation pane isn't visible?

    2. Click the navigation bar to display navigation options.

    3. In the "Agency" list, click on the agency that contains the advertiser. You can search for an agency by name or scroll through the list.

    4. In the "Advertiser" list, click on the advertiser that contains the engine account.

    5. In the "Account" list, click on the engine account that contains the campaign.
    6. In the "Campaign" list, click on the campaign.

    7. Click Apply or press the Enter key.

Search Ads 360 displays the campaign page.

  2. Click the Segment button, which appears above the performance summary graph.
    The Segment button.

If the Segment button isn’t available for a report, try scoping down. For example, the Segment button isn’t available for a keywords report at the advertiser level. Instead, you need to navigate to an engine account or lower and then click the Keywords tab.

  3. Do any of the following in the segment panel:

    • To add a segment, click the + Segment list and select a segment. The list contains only the segments that are applicable to the report that you’re currently displaying.

    • To change an existing segment, click the segment name to display the list of available segments, then select a segment from the list.

    • To remove a segment, click the remove icon   next to the segment.

  4. Click Apply.

The reporting table displays additional columns for the segments you selected, and each row is divided into the selected segments. In addition, the Segment button above the performance summary graph displays the segment you selected. If you selected more than one segment, you’ll see a message indicating the number of active segments. For example, Segment: 3 active.
