is_empty

Returns True if text has no characters

Note: This function is only available in Templates and can't be used in reporting.

Syntax

is_empty(text)

Parameter

text can be any of the following:

Static text, such as 'GDN'.
A Search Ads 360 variable that is a string, such as a Keyword, Campaign and so on.
An expression or formula column that returns a string.

Examples

[is_empty("")] is true
[is_empty("cat")] is false
[is_empty(" ")] is false
