Remove, pause or enable engine track items in a report

When a customer clicks an ad associated with an engine track account and is redirected to the new Search Ads 360, the new Search Ads 360 creates its own campaign, ad group, ad and keyword to represent the ad that was clicked and the keyword that was matched.

These items that the new Search Ads 360 creates are for reporting purposes only. The ad copy itself doesn't appear in the new Search Ads 360, nor do any of the normal campaign or ad group settings.

While you can't create new ad groups, ads or keywords, you can remove items from reports in the new Search Ads 360. Removing items from the new Search Ads 360 reports does not remove them from the advertising platform, nor does it remove the Search Ads 360 tracking URL from the items. The removed items still redirect through the new Search Ads 360, but the data does not appear in reports.

Note that once an item is removed, it can't be re-enabled. You can pause an item instead of removing it. All the metrics that an item accumulated while it was paused in the new Search Ads 360 will appear in your reports (along with new metrics going forward), and the item can be enabled again at any time.

Remove an engine track item

  1. Sign in to your new Search Ads 360.
  2. Navigate to a manager or sub-manager account.
  3. In the page menu, navigate to a page with a reporting table, such as Campaigns, Ads, Ad groups or Keywords.
  4. Above the table, click Add filter, then select Account type
  5. Select the box for Engine track, then click Apply.
  6. In the table, select the box for each item that you want to remove.
  7. In the toolbar above the table, click Edit and then select Remove.
    • Alternatively, you can click the status icon to the left of the item's name in the table, then select Remove.
  8. In the window that appears, click Confirm.

Once an item is removed, it can't be re-enabled. Instead of removing an item, you can pause it and then enable it again at any time.
