Report on labels

Use label reports as an alternative to reporting from the standard account, campaign and ad group hierarchy. For example, if you apply a 'Brand' label to all brand campaigns in your sub-manager account and a 'Generic' label to all generic campaigns in your sub-manager account, you can compare the performance of these campaign groups across all client accounts.

Instructions

  1. Sign in to your new Search Ads 360.
  2. Navigate to a manager or sub-manager account.
  3. Click Reports from the table toolbar at the top, then Predefined reports (Dimensions).
  4. Click Labels. Select from the given options:
    • Labels - Campaign
    • Labels - Ad group
    • Labels - Ad
    • Labels - Keyword
  5. You can choose a date range from the date range picker at the top of the reporting table and add or remove metrics and dimensions from the panel on the right.
  6. You can now view the report that is generated for labels for each client account.
  7. You can also download the report by clicking the download icon ''. You can choose the format (for example, .csv, .pdf and so on) in which you want to download your report.
Note: The 'Labels' page shows a summary of metrics for all labels in your sub-manager account. You can choose from the list of client accounts; you can click on 'All accounts' beside the date range picker.

For example, if you applied a 'Brand' label to all brand manual campaigns in your advertiser, you'll find a row in the reporting table that shows the total number of clicks attributed to all your brand keywords. To view metrics attributed to specific campaigns, ad groups or ads, you can add a filter to the reporting table. Then search campaigns or ad groups or apply other filter options.

Tips:

  • To see all the labels that are associated with a campaign, ad group or other item, add the 'Label (All)' column. The column shows labels that are inherited, as well as those that are applied directly.
  • You can also apply the following label filters:
    • Label (Cascaded)
    • Label (Directly Applied)
