Download a bulksheet to use

A bulksheet is a spreadsheet that contains data for creating or editing campaigns, ad groups, keywords, custom dimensions and other items in the new Search Ads 360.

For each type you create, the bulksheet must contain a specific group of columns, and the columns must be labelled with specific, pre-defined names. To see which columns and names are required, you can download bulksheet templates or an editable report that contains the items that you want to update.

You can also use bulksheets to create sitelinks in Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising client accounts.

The Search Ads 360 bulksheet schema has changed. Some columns have been renamed, some have been removed and new columns have been added. If you've used bulksheets to upload data to the previous Search Ads 360, you will need to make some changes to migrate those bulksheets to the new Search Ads 360. Learn how to migrate bulksheets to the new Search Ads 360.

  4. In 'Download template (optional)', click Download.
  5. Under 'Download templates', click the template type and format that you require.
    • The template opens in a new tab with pre-populated column headers. Under these columns you can edit and save values accordingly.

Download an editable report to use as a bulksheet

Downloading your bulksheet from an open entity page (for example, 'Campaigns' or 'Ad groups') or from 'Custom dimensions' gives you the required editable columns and populates those columns with your existing data. This allows you to make line item changes to your data, rather than having to manually import the required new data.

Download an editable report for an entity

  1. Sign in to your new Search Ads 360.
  2. Navigate to a manager or sub-manager account.
  3. In the page menu, click the page for which you want to download an editable report (for example, 'Keywords', 'Ad groups' or 'Campaigns').
  4. Click Download ''.
  5. Select a format.
  6. In your local 'Downloads' folder, click the editable report to open and edit it as required.

Download an editable report for custom dimensions

  2. Navigate to a manager or sub-manager account.
  3. Click the tools and settings icon '' in the top right-hand corner and then click Custom dimensions.
  4. Click the item you want to download from the page menu.
  5. Click Download ''.

Multi-entity downloads

In the new Search Ads 360, you can download a report containing information about more than one item or 'entity'. For example, your report can contain data about both campaigns and ad groups.

  1. Sign in to your new Search Ads 360.
  2. Navigate to a client account.
  3. In the page menu, click the page for which you want to download an editable report (for example, 'Keywords', 'Ad groups' or 'Campaigns').
  4. Click Download.
  5. Click More options.
  6. In the 'Download' dialogue, select a report format option from the drop-down menu.
  7. If required, select Compress file to create a zip file of the report on download.
  8. To add another entity to the main entity on the page where you clicked Download, select the next entity that you want to add from the drop-down menu in 'Segments and more row items'.
  9. Repeat Step 8 for any further entity data that you want to add. Once an entity is added, 'Totals' no longer applies (the summary would inadvertently include ad group values to the summary, for example) and is disabled.
  10. Select All editable columns for bulk upload.
  11. Click Download.
  12. In your local 'Downloads' folder, click the editable report to open and edit it as required.
