Rename a Floodlight conversion action

You can rename a Floodlight conversion action without affecting the corresponding Floodlight tag, reports, formula columns, or automated rules. That is, the Floodlight tag continues to fire and report conversions through the renamed conversion action. Any custom Floodlight columns, formula columns, bid strategies, or rules that refer to the renamed column continues to use data from the renamed conversion action. 

When you download Conversions reports or reports that are segmented by Floodlight conversion action, you see the new name. If you have spreadsheet formulas that use a specific name, you need to update the formulas.

To rename a Floodlight conversion action, do the following:

1. Sign in to your new Search Ads 360.
2. Navigate to a sub-manager account.
3. In the navigation menu, click the tools and settings icon .
4. Under “Measurement,” click Conversions.
5. In the table on the Conversion actions tab, click the name of the Floodlight conversion action you want to change.
6. On the “Details” page, click Edit settings.
7. On the “Conversion actions settings” page, click Conversion name to expand the section.
8. Enter a new name, then click Save.
9. Click Done.
