Ongoing management of plans

After your plan is in effect, check in periodically to make sure that it's meeting your expectations. Follow these steps to find your active plans:

  1. Sign in to your new Search Ads 360.
  2. Navigate to a manager or sub-manager account.
  3. In the left page menu, click Bidding & Planning > Active plans.
  4. In 'Active plans', click a link for a campaign group.

Review for any disparity between targets and forecasts and edit the plan if necessary. For example, if the forecasted spend is much higher than anticipated and the increase in key metric doesn't seem warranted by the additional cost, edit the plan to adjust the spend value. Also, if your spend is in line with expectations but the forecast for your key metric is below what you wanted, you can set a higher value for spend.

From the 'Active plans' page, you can also drill into campaign groups and individual campaigns to confirm whether one or more individual campaigns are not performing as expected. For example, a campaign might be constrained by a daily budget that's too low or by location, language or audience-segment settings that are too broadly or too narrowly configured.

If you're using a budget bid strategy, your edits to the plan through the interface will take effect when you save the updates.

If you're managing your plan manually, you can upload modifications in a new plan spreadsheet.
