Change the email address associated with your account

If you log in using your email address, you can update this in your account settings.

To update your email address on Google Skills: 

  1. Sign in to Google Skills.
  2. Click your profile picture in the top right corner of your screen, then click Settings.
  3. Click the Security tab in account settings. 
  4. In the New Email field, enter your new email address.
  5. In the Current Password field, enter your current password.
  6. Click Update Email.
  7. Check your new email inbox for a message from noreply@cloudskillsboost.google with the subject "Welcome to Google Cloud Skills Boost."
  8. Click the Confirm email address button.
  9. Sign in using your new email address and original password.

Additional information

  • The new email must be able to receive emails and cannot be associated with another Google Cloud Skills Boost account.
  • This procedure only changes your sign-in email; your password and other information remain the same.
  • The Security Settings page will continue to show your old email until you confirm the new one. 
  • After confirmation, you'll receive a message saying "Your account was successfully confirmed."
Note: You cannot merge two or more Google Skills accounts into a single account. Each Google Skills account, and its associated credits, subscriptions, learning history, etc. is a separate account.
