Devices
Run labs from a laptop or desktop computer that has an internet connection and a supported browser. You can use any number of devices, but you can run only one lab at a time with your subscription.
Running labs
To ensure that you can complete all steps successfully, avoid using mobile devices for taking a lab. You must use a standard computer setup because devices such as tablets or mobile phones present limitations that might affect your ability to view and interact with lab content.
Mobile devices might cause the following issues when completing a lab:
• The device might prevent you from properly viewing the display
• You might be unable to use multiple windows
• You might not be able to fully access the keyboard
• Labs that involve using a Cloud console might not function correctly
Supported browsers
Google Skills supports the latest versions of all popular browsers. For optimal functionality use Firefox or Chrome.
Incognito or private browsing
You must be able to run your browser in incognito or private mode.
PDF viewing
If your lab instructions are in PDF format:
1. You might need to enable PDF viewing in your browser settings
2. If you use an older browser or outdated Adobe software, the PDFs might not be visible. You might receive a message prompting you to install or update your Adobe PDF viewing software (plugin)
