Rename files and folders with Quickoffice

We are no longer making Quickoffice available for download. To work with Microsoft® Office files, install the newest versions of the DocsSheets, and Slides apps from Google Play on your Android phone or tablet, or the Docs, Sheets, and Slides apps from the App Store for your iPhone or iPad. You can use Quickoffice to rename files and folders on Android tablets and phones. Files can be renamed on iPhone & iPads, but folders cannot be renamed at this time.

Here's how to rename files or folders... 

... on iPads & iPhones:
  1. Touch the file info (>) icon to next to the file’s name.
  2. Double touch the file name - a cursor will appear.
  3. Edit the file name, then touch Done.

Note: It is not possible to change the name of folders on iOS devices at this time.

... on Android tablets & phones:
  1. Check the box next to the name of the file/folder you wish to rename
  2. Touch the rename (pencil) icon.
  3. Enter the desired name then touch Rename.
