Request removal of duplicate church in Hawaii
Google Maps•1/9/2025
Here is the incorrect, duplicate church Maps URL: https://maps.app.goo.gl/x7yXxrHAPrhW2WXo9
Here is the correct church Maps URL: https://maps.app.goo.gl/x6ed25F3oRhCgNiQ6
On Google Maps, "The Painted Church" has the wrong address, 84-5133 Painted Church Rd, Captain Cook, HI 96704, and is on the wrong side of the road. The correct Google Maps entry has the correct address: 84-5140 Painted Church Rd, Captain Cook, HI 96704. I am trying to use the Report function in Google Maps, to report "The Painted Church" as a duplicate of St Benedict's across the street. However, my edit requests are being rejected. Possibly because there are a lot of reviews and pictures for the incorrect entry; however the point stands that all the pictures and reviews should be merged into the proper entry, which is St Benedicts.
Please note that both the correct and the incorrect Google Maps entry lists the following website as the church's website: https://thepaintedchurchhawaii.org/
You can see right there on that website in the header image, that the correct address is listed: 84-5140 Painted Church Rd
That is the indelible proof that "The Painted Church" google maps entry is wrong, and should be removed/merged into "St Benedict Catholic Church"
I humbly suggest to the admins of Google Maps, that my edit request be accepted. Otherwise tourists searching for the Painted Church are going to turn into a random home's driveway and not the church on the other side of the street slightly up the road!
Launch parameter ' --ignore-certificate-errors' no longer working on Chrome v102
Chrome Enterprise & Education•6/1/2022
Until this week, I was using these built-in chrome launch options to ignore certificate errors, since I work in development and have a lot of internal servers that use self-signed certs: https://medium.com/idomongodb/chrome-bypassing-ssl-certificate-check-18b35d2a19fd
However, this morning Chrome notified me it had installed a new update, and now this parameter is not working anymore.
Can anyone at Google confirm that this functionality has been taken away from us, or no? Should it still be working?
My windows shortcut to Chrome is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --ignore-certificate-errors
But when I visit my internal sites now I get the pointless "NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID" - yes, I know it's invalid, I created the cert file. I don't care about this warning, it just slows my work down.
Reply to Play counts, sorting, multiple song selection/actions missing from YouTube Music. when planned?

Give us the play counts. Which GPM had. For years. Already. How much simpler do we music listeners have to spell it out for you?

Google Play Music and Youtube Music is the same way. Play Counts are a reasonable data point to want to make smart playlists off of, or sort by. GPM has them visible to users and I can at least sort by them.
Please stop giving us inferior versions of apps we already had. If you're going to replace something, make it better.
Reply to Google calendar stopped syncing with Mozilla/Thunderbird/Lightning after changing my Google password
Google Calendar•1/23/2020
Changing the useragent changed the appearance of the pop-up window to a more "modern" (whatever; the old one was fine) appearance, and this time when the sync happened, my status bar read "reading 1000 events from gmail..." for a few minutes, then everything appeared up to date in my Lightning. Hooray!
