Everyone keeps saying that and everyone keeps saying that they contact Google. Google sends out a replacement, and the replacement does the exact same thing. This is a software problem

Lol and then they send out a refurb that has the same problem because it's a software issue. I've seen this repeated here and on Reddit over and over. "Look kids! Big Ben! Parliament!" 

With so many having this issue why won't Google simply address it?

Happening to me as well. I've had it happen as much as 85%. I just lost data from my evening walk because as I was walking in the door, I noticed the watch was rebooting. I've done the factory reset. Doesn't help. Recommended answer is wrong. This is clearly a software issue. When can we expect an update and fix? 
Basically I think we all bought an inferior product. While Google keeps promising updates, nothing happens. This is likely a physical flaw in the design of the product. Unless they can do something about it, I don't think I can buy another pair of Google headphones again. I bought the first gen, and they were just a mess. These are also bad. Last I heard from support was return them for a replacement or refund, my choice. 

This is a nightmare. 

Yes, my buds have the latest firmware (552) but they still don't work properly. I'm not sure what they can do to fix this.

MY buds have the latest firmware, 552, and still have the problems. EVERYONE still has these problems! The audio cuts out anytime I'm outside, or are around other people. It seems like these were built with an inferior Bluetooth transmitter. You keep telling us you're working on it, but there has been no update in over a month, and the problem persists! 

I talked to someone in tech support today, and all they could do was tell me that I could jump through a bunch of hoops to get my money back. I just want them to work!
