right , because google engineers work overtime on weekends  so that we could all access our "safety" folder  - excuse my sarcasm -i think it could have something to do with a "syncing" glitch - just today i noticed a failed upload to gdrive initiated three days ago, not that gdrive sync storage was linked to any of my stored files, but who knows how many background tasks google has running on our phones besides the ones we're made aware of - go 2  apps - force stop the app  then clear cache - relaunch app  , maybe a restart to make sure all services relaunch - i suppose one could also debug the issue  but that would require knowledge & patience and a lot of docs reading _google would actually help with that, i can vouch for that much !

 - ok i disabled wifi and sim , restarted the phone and voila got access
