Windows 11 Pro here and same issue. This is really putting a kink into my work productivity, which requires me to download an attachment from every email. Why would they take functionality away? This will push me to move to another email platform that allows drag and drop of attachments.

Suddenly cannot drag attachments from Gmail. Just get a URL shortcut. Please help!

Suddenly cannot drag attachments from Gmail. Just get a URL shortcut. Have cleared cache in Chrome, tried another browser, updated everything including Windows, run scannow and file checker. I use this drag and drop feature all day at work and having to click to download every attachment now is a big time drain. This just started out of the blue on Friday, 9/8/23 without doing anything different.
