I just bought a Nest Hub because of all the rave reviews and it is truly horrible. I don't know what these people are thinking selling such an awful product. It is so slow as to be unusable. Not to mention the myriad of bugs (no light status on smart lights screen, missing album art from YouTube Music uploads, can't browse any media libraries, backlight bleed at high brightness, telling me it needs to reconfigure my voice match to access my recent recipes even though I'm using my fingers and then playing Evanescence when I agree, rebooting randomly). I can see why these things are getting discontinued. I got it on on a clearance price and still will probably return it. Worst google product I've ever owned and I had the original Nexus 7, so that's saying something. They should be paying us to take these things off their hands.

This is really messed up. Unlike some people here, I do actually use Google Photos to back up my media, but since they cruelly took away the free original photo quality backup for Pixel phones, I have to back up my original quality photos and videos manually on my computer. I accidentally hit this stupid button and now six months worth of original quality media is gone. I couldn't even stop the process once it started. There was no confirmation screen, it just took off. Force quitting the app didn't work, it just kept going. So while they were backed up to Google Photos, they are compressed and I can never recover my originals. Google is never going to get their act together. The do stupid things like this all the time and they truly do not care. It's infuriating. What a disaster of a company they have become. It's so disappointing.
