Abuse program policies and enforcement
The content policies listed below play an important role in maintaining a positive experience for everyone using Google products. We need to curb abuses that threaten our ability to provide these services, and we ask that everyone abide by the policies below to help us achieve this goal.
These policies apply to content when using the Poly platform. In addition, users should comply with the Google Privacy Policy. The policies apply to all Poly features, including titles of the assets.
When applying these policies, we may make exceptions based on artistic, educational, documentary, or scientific considerations, or where there are other substantial benefits to the public from not taking action on the content. Be sure to check back from time to time, as these policies may change. Please also refer to Google's Terms of Service for more information.
Report abuse
If you believe that someone is violating the policies found below, report abuse by using the "Flag" option on the creation's page.
To report copyright infringement or other legal issues, please use this tool, which will guide you through the process of reporting content that you believe warrants removal from Google's services based on applicable laws.
Program Policies
Sexually Explicit Content
We don’t allow sexually explicit content, such as pornography, or the promotion thereof.
Child Endangerment
Google has a zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse imagery. If we become aware of content with child sexual abuse imagery, we will report it to the appropriate authorities and delete the Google Accounts of those involved with the distribution.
Hate Speech
We don't allow content that advocates against groups of people based on their race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, gender, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, or gender identity.
Illegal activities
Do not use Poly to engage in illegal activities or promote content, activities or behavior that are dangerous or illegal. For instance, we don’t allow content that may cause or facilitate violence or physical harm to any person or animal. If we are notified of unlawful activities, we will take appropriate action, which may include removing access to our product, your Google Account, or reporting you to the relevant authorities.
Intellectual Property
Don't infringe on the intellectual property rights of others, including trademark, copyright, and other proprietary rights. We will respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement. For more information or to file a DMCA request, use this tool.
Shocking Content
Don't post content just to be shocking or graphic.
Personal and Confidential Information
Do not publish another person's personal or confidential information.
API Prohibitions
You will not create a site or service that functions substantially the same as Poly with assets from Poly and offer it for use by third parties.
You agree only to access Poly through Tilt Brush, Blocks, or the Poly API and not to use any other automated system, such as spiders or bots, to access Poly in a manner that sends more requests to Poly than a human can reasonably produce in the same period by using a conventional on-line web browser.
