You can have Chrome save your passwords for different sites.

If you enter a new password on a site, Chrome will ask to save it. To accept, click Save.

• To check the password that will be saved, click Preview .
• If there are multiple passwords on the page, click the Down arrow . Choose the password you want saved.
• If your username is blank or incorrect, click the text box next to "Username." Enter the username you want saved.
• If you want to save a different password, click the text box next to "Password." Enter the password you want saved.

Ajouter manuellement un nouveau mot de passe

1. Sur votre ordinateur, ouvrez Chrome.
2. Dans le coin supérieur droit, cliquez sur Plus Gestionnaire de mots de passe Google Ajouter.
3. Entrez un site Web, un nom d'utilisateur et un mot de passe.

Ajouter des notes à votre mot de passe enregistré

Vous pouvez ajouter des notes à un mot de passe enregistré pour vous aider à mémoriser des informations sur un compte ou pour enregistrer les informations de connexion. Lorsque vous avez ajouté une note, celle-ci bénéficie de la même protection de sécurité qu'un mot de passe.

1. Sur votre ordinateur, ouvrez Chrome.
2. Dans le coin supérieur droit, cliquez sur Plus Gestionnaire de mots de passe Google.
3. Sous « Mots de passe », choisissez le mot de passe pour lequel vous souhaitez ajouter une note.
4. Cliquez sur Modifier.
5. Entrez votre note.
6. Lorsque vous avez terminé, cliquez sur Enregistrer.

Sign in with a saved password

If you saved your password to Chrome on a previous visit to a website, Chrome can help you sign in.

1. On your computer, go to a site you've visited before.
2. Go to the site’s sign-in form.
   • If you’ve saved a single username and password for the site: Chrome will fill in the sign-in form automatically.
   • If you’ve saved more than one username and password: Select the username field and choose the sign-in info you want to use.

Utiliser l'authentification biométrique avec des mots de passe

• L'authentification biométrique est activée par défaut.

Show, edit, delete, or export saved passwords

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, select Profile Passwords .
   • If you can’t find the Passwords icon, at the top right, select More Passwords and autofill Google Password Manager.
3. Show, edit, delete, or export a password:
   • Show: To the right of your password, select the Arrow Show password .
   • Edit: To the right of the password, select the Arrow Edit.
   • Delete: To the right of the website, select the Arrow Delete.
   • Export: On the left, select Settings.
     • Under "Export Passwords," select Download file.

To clear all your saved passwords, clear browsing data and select Passwords.

Start or stop saving passwords

By default, Chrome offers to save your password. You can turn this option off or on at any time.

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, select Profile Passwords .
   • If you can’t find the Passwords icon, at the top right, select More Passwords and autofill Google Password Manager.
3. On the left, select Settings.
4. Turn Offer to save passwords on or off.

Sign in to sites & apps automatically

You can automatically sign in to any sites and apps where you have saved your info using "Auto sign-in." When you turn on "Auto sign-in," you don't need to confirm your username and password.

If you want to confirm your saved info when you sign in, you can turn off "Auto sign-in."

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, select Profile Passwords .
   • If you can't find your Google Account, learn how to turn on sync in Chrome.
   • If you can’t find the Passwords icon, at the top right, select More ​​​​​ Passwords and autofill  Google Password Manager.
3. On the left, select Settings.
4. Turn Sign in automatically on or off.

Ajouter le gestionnaire de mots de passe Google à votre écran d'accueil

Pour un accès rapide, vous pouvez ajouter le gestionnaire de mots de passe Google comme raccourci.

1. Sur votre ordinateur, ouvrez Chrome.
2. Dans le coin supérieur droit, cliquez sur Plus Gestionnaire de mots de passe Google.
3. Sur la gauche, cliquez sur Paramètres Ajouter un raccourci.
4. Cliquez sur Installer.

Check your saved passwords

You can check all your saved passwords at once to find out if they're exposed in a data breach or potentially weak and easy to guess.

To check your saved passwords:

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, select Profile Passwords .
   • If you can’t find the Passwords icon, at the top right, select More Passwords and autofill Google Password Manager.
3. On the left, select Checkup.

You'll get details on any password exposed in a data breach and any weak, easy to guess passwords.

Manage password change alerts

You may get an alert from Chrome if you use a password and username combination that has been compromised in a data leak on a third-party website or app. Compromised password and username combinations are unsafe because they’ve been published online.

We recommend that you change any compromised passwords as soon as you can. You can follow the instructions in Chrome to change your password on the site where you’ve used that password, and check your saved passwords for any other site the password may be saved on.

Chrome makes sure that your passwords and username are protected so they can’t be read by Google.

Pour démarrer ou arrêter les notifications :

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, select More Settings.
3. Click Privacy and security Security Standard protection.
4. Turn Warn you if passwords are exposed in a data breach on or off.

Tip: This feature is only available if the "Safe Browsing" option is turned on.

Ignorer les notifications pour des sites en particulier :

1. Sur votre ordinateur, ouvrez Chrome.
2. Dans le coin supérieur droit, cliquez sur Plus Gestionnaire de mots de passe Google.
3. Pour vérifier lesquels de vos mots de passe enregistrés sont compromis, cliquez sur Vérification.
4. À la droite de « Mots de passe compromis », cliquez sur la flèche .
5. Recherchez le site des notifications que vous souhaitez arrêter.
6. Cliquez sur Plus Ignorer l'avertissement.

Conseil : Pour restaurer les avertissements du site, sous « Avertissements ignorés », cliquez sur Plus à côté du site dont vous souhaitez relancer les notifications. Cliquez ensuite sur Restaurer l'avertissement.

How Chrome saves and syncs passwords

How Chrome saves your passwords depends on whether you want to store and use them across devices. When you're signed in to Chrome, you can save your passwords to your Google Account. Passwords can then be used on Chrome across your devices, and across some apps on your Android devices.

Otherwise, you can store passwords locally on your computer only.
