I upgraded to Android 11 in the System settings (OTA) since then I have massive battery issues. My phone lasts around 4h without use after charged to 100%. The phone feels constantly warm.

System settings don't show any suspicious app. I rebooted twice already.

Any idea what I could do to fix the issue?

Thanks for your help!

I have the same issue. Battery is def draining faster since moving to android 11. Did a full reset yesterday. I thought that would Fix it but it didn't. Device is still running pretty warm and battery draining faster than on Android 10. I hope Google fixes it with an update before they stop the software support for the pixel 2

Can you reboot into safe mode and see if the battery drain is fast there?

Getting the same issue on my Pixel 4 XL. Charging all night and only goes to 99%. Down to 41% since I unplugged it at about 6 hours ago with very little use. Yesterday, my battery was draining while driving and plugged in. What is going on, Google???

I have Pixel 3 and having same issue.  Battery easily drains 30% faster than Android 10.  I never had battery issues previously.

I try to use adb to figure out this problem, then I found that this process keeps eating up cpu(com.google.android.providers.media.module which is called media storage)
So if I disable this app, then everything goes back to normal, but I can't use storage function anymore.

Have the same issues on Pixel 4 XL. Batterydrain is definitely high even in standby. Aod seems to drain much more than usual. But  i am not sure if that is really the cause for it.

Is anyone from Google actually look at this forum?
Please explain this battery drain issue... Sometime in January, long after receiving the Android 11 update, my battery is dying at "90%".
No apps are using any extraordinary battery. Have tried to reboot AND have tried a full factory reset. When I brought my phone back up, I didn't bring anything from my backup. I started fresh and it's still draining like this- DAILY...
I use to get through an entire day (12+ hours) without having to charge my phone.
What is happening?! Google, please, release a fix for this... This is insane. I shouldn't have to submit a warranty report to get attention on this matter...
