Yes, similar situation with my device as well (P2XL), haven't received an update. I believe Google is rolling it out in successions based on Geography or based on recency of pixel device. It's just a guess, pretty sure Google can manage worldwide roll out because frankly it's Google. Anyways waiting for getting my hands on the last OS update for my device :(

No update for me either on my 3a XL..are we being deorioritized or what? It's not that all the Asian countries are left out since people over Sri Lanka got that on day one...it's quite disheartening because day one update is one of the few unique selling points of pixel series and Google can't back down their own promise

Guys, you will receive the update OTA if you opt in to the beta programme on an eligible device. I just opted in, and i got the stable update. have to see stability. But google will call out clearly if you are going to install a beta build. One way to get this ota pushed to the phone. Expect to see it over the next few days either ways.

Before you opt to go with hack make sure you read this carefully.

Before you enrol
The updates that you’ll receive as a part of this programme are pre-release versions, and may contain errors and defects that can affect normal functioning of your device.
You will not be able to unenrol and revert back to a lower public release version of Android without first wiping all locally saved data on your device. You may also encounter issues restoring a backup. We recommend reviewing the latest Pixel known issues before enrolling in Android Beta. Note: You will not receive separate monthly security updates while on a beta build.

The easiest way to get the update now in India is opt in for Android 11 beta. Once you do, go to system updates and you will get the Android 11 non beta on your system.

I tried the beta opt in and got the stable release on ky Pixel 2. It has the same build no. as of released factory image on dev webpage
I'm on Jio network and 4G/VoLTE works fine
So far no issues and everything is butter smooth
Just one question I've, can I opt out now from beta program? Since this is a stable build, will it wipe whole data if I opt out?

If you don't want to wait, and I didn't, you can manually flash the android 11 system image from https://developers.google.com/android/images#blueline

Before running the flash-all.bat install script, make sure you remove '-w' flag by editing the script in notepad if you don't want to wipe your data partition. Otherwise your phone will get factory reset and will lose all your apps and locally stored data.

P.S. - make sure you have the latest platform tools from https://developer.android.com/studio/releases/platform-tools and the latest usb drivers from https://developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb

I am using the Pixel 3a, I was also not getting the update but I read the comments here and decided to join the Beta Program and after joining it, I checked for update from the settings and within a minute I got an update for Android 11. It was so easy. I would recommend that everyone else should also do it.  But make sure you leave the Beta Program after updating to Android 11. Also, backup all your data and reset your phone after leaving the beta program. Many people are complaining that why Google isn't giving first day update on their Pixel phones in India, a major reason because of which people buy Pixel Phones, but the problem here is not Google it is the carriers. Unlike the U.S., there's no carrier model in India, and all phones sold in the country are unlocked versions. That said, local carriers Airtel and Jio have enabled various features like Wi-Fi calling and eSIM in recent years, and it is likely the update is held up for additional carrier testing to make sure these features work as intended.

Relevant Answer
@Koneru Ram
Its not necessary to reset the device. Even if you opt out of beta after upgrading to android 11, you receive no further update to wipe your device because you are already on the stable version. I successfully updated my Pixel 2 XL by opting in for beta and faced no issue. I opted out of beta immediately after update completed and I have received no further update to wipe my device. Its been more than 36 hours now.
I am using Jio and VoLTE is working fine. No network issues or anything.

Relevant Answer
The workaround of opting-in for Beta version and then I had got the 11 update. So far smooth and I did not face any issues with the build as this is the final build which is out in the public. I haven't tried the opt-out yet but the info on the website does mention that it would not wipe out the phone as now it is on a public release.
Also, this opt-in does not entitle for an beta for Android 12 as you would have to enroll again.
I'm on Airtel 4G on the Pixel 4 XL and it works like a charm.
I hope the motion sense features get to work soon in India

Hey Pixel/Nexus lovers!

I have been a pixel and nexus user back from the Galaxy nexus days, never saw this behaviour of delayed s/w release for India.
I personally flashed the OTA on my 2xl and everything working extremely smooth, no issues whatsoever.

The reason behind the delay is apparently carrier testing especially with RCS, WiFi calling and e-sim capabilities with Jio and Airtel I understand.

Hold your horses the OTA should arrive early next week, if you are impatient like me flash the OTA, even if there is an update later you can install that or flash it!

Enjoy!

You have to re-register for every UPI app again. Just clear app data and verify your mobile number again. Everything will start working again. Tested on BHIM and Google Pay, they are working fine.

For India, the update is still not roll out but it will be out soon I suggest Indian pixel user don't sideload until and unless the update is available most probably it will be available soon within 2 weeks I suggest you wait if you install android 11 you may have a problem. There would be a reason they haven't roll out an update for Indian pixel user you will get soon

I am from India I was on final beta and I received android 11 but after that my all the banking apps and UPI apps were not working as there was an error no sim card detected I think they are working with the carrier

India is lacking in services - no walkin servicing centres, Pixel phone depreciates faster then Mach-1, and now this delay?
The camera and the software is the only reason I'm still using a pixel device.

I know right, absolutely pathetic. To top all of that Google has not acknowledged the issue at all in Public, their Support staff just keep repeating the generic message from 2010, we are rolling out in batches, please wait.. blah.blah.

A support agent that I talked to didn't even acknowledge that the Check for Update button is supposed to pull the update immediately if available. He kept saying imagine the load if it was available at the same time 😂 It's like they have never heard of Apple. We are getting 1/100th of support at Apple prices.

@Nikhil The way I see this, it's an indefensible position. The comment that you've posted is full of errors. Technically OEMs can push updates now that the source code is already available. I would be surprised if the official Google representatives take that ridiculous stance.

Moreover the most frustrating bit like others have pointed out is that there has not been 1 single official communication from Google acknowledging the missing update. They are acting like we don't exist or have not bought their product. Can you imagine this happening in any other country they sold pixels in  -US/Canada/Australia?

Well I'm still waiting for some official information, and as I said, I will post it as soon as I have it.

My advice to you - user to user - is that you're free to get a phone which suits all your needs. A smartphone shouldn't be a thing to stress about. :) If you feel like Pixel phones can't fulfill your expectations, you should by all means switch to a phone that can.

That is not a very good answer. See, Pixels are meant to get updates on day 1 and it kinda makes them special too(along with the camera and all). If Google delays it due to a bug, fine, but they should at least provide some kind of explanation and give an ETA.
