Pixel 7 Pro stuck on "Pixel is starting..."

After turning on my Pixel 7 Pro, it displays "Google", and then shows "Pixel is starting...", but seems to be stuck there.

The power button is responsive, showing me options to Lockdown, Power Off, and Restart, but I don't think there's anything else I can do except wait(?). It's shown 'Pixel is starting..." for about 30 minutes now.

Prior to my current situation, I had Powered off the Pixel 7 Pro, and when I powered on, it showed a message:

Android Recovery
google/cheetah/cheetah
14/UP1A.231005.007/10754064
user/release-keys
Use volume up/down and power.
Cannot load Android system. Your data may be corrupt. If you continue to get this message you may need to perform a factory data reset and erase all user data stored on this device.
Try again
Factory data reset

And I chose the option "Try again", which led me to my current situation, showing "Pixel is starting..."

Perhaps what may already be apparent is that yesterday I upgraded from Android 13 to 14 on this phone.

Seeing if others are stuck, as I wait for a response from support.google.com.

Cheers

Just talked with the support. They said the engineers are expecting a fix around mid-november.
This situation is completely unbelievable. This was my first and last Google phone. Never buying this crap again. I've had problems over problems over problems since I got this phone in march.

All,

Please take a look at the updated official statement from Google regarding this issue:

Detlef, the Google Pixel team reached out to me to test a special build for users with the boot loop situation but had forgot to enable their email alias to allow for external email replies so when I replied I got an instant rejection. Can you let them know to enable replies from external addresses? Thank you.

I will try, no guarantees there will be a response though.

I'm dumbfounded. I went to bed a few hours ago and the phone was fine. It's 2:30a Nov 4th and I happened to wake up and see what other users are reporting. It's been days since this problem was discovered. They have the email address associated the device and know the device type. I cannot believe this update is still rolling out without some type of warning being pushed so users can at least try to back up data before being hit if they cannot stop the update from impacting the device. I'm pretty sure my phone updated days ago so it must have been something that triggered a reboot tonight that caused this problem? I'm very concerned I'll be losing photos that I would have otherwise been backing up this weekend. Device is a pixel 7 pro.

I have similar problem with pixel 7a. since then it's completely gone. No reboot, no reset nothing.
