My back and home buttons have gone to a straight line, don't know what I've changed,

Back and home buttons are now just a straight bar in bottom of screen, having terrible job trying to go back or close apps, reading comments have to keep poking and swiping screen to try and get it to do anything, how do I change it back pls?
