Anyone else have their new Pixel 6 stolen by FedEx?

Expecting my Pixel 6 Pro to arrive today, via Fedex.  Fedex marked the shipment as "Damaged" and told me to contact the shipper.  I called FedEx and spoke with someone.  They said the box was empty at its last checkpoint.  Fedex had the box in their control for the last two days, so it was a FedEx Employee that stole my phone.

Anyone else seeing this as a trend, or am I the only one?

It seems like there are always a handful of similar reports with every new phone release - maybe 1-2 of every couple of thousand phones which are successfully delivered (not that I have solid data to back that up - just anecdotal information based on what I've seen reported in the past). As far as I'm aware it's not any sort of widespread trend, but it's also not completely unheard of. 
 
At any rate, I'm very sorry to hear that it's happened to you. Hopefully FedEx and Google are able to get it sorted swiftly.

Mine was "lost" but marked as delivered anyway. Whoever marked it as delivered messed up and backdated delivery to before the last package scan. FedEx admits it was not delivered but they won't change the tracking status. They recommend Google open a claim, but when I contact Google the specialist just says it was delivered.

Same thing happened to me. My box arrived empty. I immediately returned to the driver as I opened it immediately but FedEx did not change the status. It still shows delivered. I filed a claim with FedEx and contacted google. All I get is that they're investigating from Google & fedex is no help saying that the shipper needs to file a claim. Has anyone gotten a resolution? This is so frustrating.
