How do you change the stupid stacked time on the lock screen for Android 12?
1
Android 12 change the way my lock screen time lays out..... Into a position where it is very difficult for me to read and understand the time in that format. I'd like to go back to the old way where time made sense and I didn't hate looking at my phone... How do I do that?

This is actually a "feature" of Android 12.

While you cannot manually change it back to the old one-line H:MM format, you will get that smaller format if there are any active notifications on your phone.

I use an app Signal Spy that lets you know how you are connected to the internet - wifi or cellular. It has an option to display an icon on the notification line. As long as that is active, my lock screen shows the one-line clock. Odd workaround, but I rely on it until Android 12 has a better option.

Sorry this isn't an option at this time. Send feedback using these instructions: https://support.google.com/pixelphone/answer/6398243?hl=en
That info will go straight to the Pixel team to review.

Agree. I hate it. I, HATE it! I hate that every time I pick up my phone I have to see this stupid screen. I hate that they even took away the option to switch it back. I'm serious, they have about a week to send out a fix or I'm getting ride of this phone.

I agree with the person who said they have about a week to fix it. I hate it, it is so obnoxious and I just want to be able to change it.

Totally agree! So ugly! I hate looking at my lock screen now. I want my images back the way i had everything. This has been such a PIA. Who are these people that thought offering us no choice was a good idea? Seriously want to ditch the Pixel now.

Please give us an option to go back to HH:MM format on a single line. I do not want to read the time in a block format. It messes with my brain.
