How to take a Google Pixel screenshot
- Open the screen that you want to capture.
- Press the Power and Volume down buttons at the same time.
- Your device will take a picture of the screen and save it.
- At the bottom left, you'll find a preview of your screenshot.
Tip: You can also say, "Hey Google, take a screenshot" to capture your screen.
Take a scrolling screenshot
- Open the screen that you want to capture.
- Press the Power and Volume down buttons at the same time.
- At the bottom, tap Capture more.
- To select the content you want to capture, use the crop guidelines.
Take a screenshot without buttons
Depending on your navigation, you can take a screenshot without buttons.

To find a screenshot you just took, tap the preview of your screenshot.

How to translate your screenshot (Pixel 3 & later, including Fold)
Important: You can only translate screenshots in these languages:
- Chinese
- French
- German
- Hebrew
- Hindi
- Italian
- Japanese
- Korean
- Portuguese
- Spanish
- On your device, go to the website or app you want to translate.
- Take a screenshot.
- Open the Google Photos app

- Select the screenshot you want to translate, then tap Lens
Translate.
How to record your screen
- Swipe down from the top of your screen.
- Tap Screen record

- You might need to swipe right to find it.
- If it's not there, tap Edit
and drag Screen record
to your Quick Settings.
- Choose what you want to record and tap Start. The recording begins after the countdown.
- You can choose whether to record audio and show touches on the screen before you start.
- To stop recording, swipe down from the top of the screen and tap the Screen recorder notification
