i took multiple pictures of the same object, but all pictures have a slightly different framing since i didn't use a tripod. is there a way to create an animation that's motion stabilized?

Hi Ueli,

Thanks for posting on the Google Photos Help Forum.

Could you confirm, if you're referring to creating an animation with the group of images in the Google Photos interface? If yes, I'd suggest trying the steps in this help article and see if that helps.

If that's not the case, please elaborate the issue you're facing to assist you better.

Keep me posted.

Regards,
Edward

No, it does not help. I know how to create the animation, but I'm not happy with the results.

My pictures are sometimes a bit more right or a bit more left. I'm looking for a way to align them before creating the animation.

This is technology that Google already has implemented in the app Motion Still. But it only works to take and animate new pictures, it does not work with pictures I already have.

I was hoping there was a way to make Google photo to analyze pictures before sticking them together in an animation.

Hi Ueli,

Thanks for posting back.

I understand your concern and currently, there's no way to create an animation that's motion stabilized.

I'd suggest sending your detailed feedback directly to our Google Photos team as a feature request.

Regards,
Edward
