Syncing after deleting photos

I’m not real clear on how syncing works. I have been deleting photos I don’t want in Google photos but these photos are still in my Apple photos. When Google photos syncs again with Apple photos will it put those photos back in google?

To turn off Backup, follow the steps below otherwise the photos will be uploaded to the web again.
  1. Open the Google Photos app .
  2. Sign in to your Google Account.
  3. At the top right, tap your Profile picture or Initial.
  4. Tap the Google Photos settings   Backup.
  5. Turn Backup off.

Note: that seeing photos via the app does not mean they are backed up. Backed up photos can be seen via a browser in desktop mode at https://photos.google.com/

Note: adding photos to albums automatically uploads them and uses storage as albums are web based and use the settings at https://photos.google.com/settings
