Restore deleted photos up to 60 days
Dear Google Support Team,
I am reaching out with an urgent request to recover photos that were deleted from my Google Photos account. Among the deleted images was a very precious photo of me with a close friend who has since passed away. This is the only picture I have with him, and it holds immense emotional value for me.
I have checked the Trash/Bin, but the photo is no longer there. I kindly ask if there is any possible way to restore these files from Google’s servers, even if more than 60 days have passed since the deletion.
I would deeply appreciate any assistance you can provide, as this photo is irreplaceable.

You can ONLY restore photos and videos if they're available in your trash. If your photos and videos have been deleted from the trash too, then I'm sorry to say they can't be recovered, not even by Google.

Welcome to the Google Photos Help Community.
Permanently deleted items from the trash/bin cannot be recovered.
You can restore recently deleted photos and videos that are still in your trash. Items that are permanently deleted can’t be restored.
If you recently deleted your photos/ album then follow these steps
- On your phone or tablet, open the Google Photos app

- At the bottom, tap Collections-> Trash/Bin
.
- Touch and hold the photo or video you want to restore.
- At the bottom, tap Restore. The photo or video will be back:
- In your phone’s gallery app
- In your Google Photos library
- In any albums it was in

.Backed up photos and videos stay in your trash for 60 days. Photos and videos that weren’t backed up stay in your trash for 30 days.
If you’re missing photos and videos, check your Trash or Archive Folder.
Important: If you’re inactive or over your storage limit for 2 years or more, your content may be deleted. Learn about the Google Photos inactivity policy.
