How do I permanently disable Google Photos pop-up prompt to backup my photos? I
The pop-up is very annoying and apears at least 1 every week. Further mor after I reject, another pop-up shows up having my photos selected with a big button to backup. Small button to reject again. This is pretty invasive UX. The responsible project manager should be fired. Feels like warez times from 2000s.

These guys don't realize that having us saying F* Google every time this kind of popup appears, the word we end up always associating with the brand is not "Fine"

I love the warez analogy. The product manager at Google photos is shameless but they are just doing the math. For every 100 people they offend with this sleazy behavior, one person turning on backup is a net win.
FWIW, when this happens, close photos entirely and reopen it. You will have to do this every 5th time you access photos.
Also be sure to submit feedback in the app. When the sleazy manager retires a millionaire in two years, maybe someone more ethical will replace them. It's worth a try.

Google! stealing money for very old people is one of the worst (and coward) things a offender can do, not to speak about a big corporation supposed to have high social responsibility standards...

What else can I do to turn the notification off? I am constantly running into risk of by mistake uploading my photos to cloud because of the invasive UX that is designed the way to make users do the mistake.

Congrats Google, you're driving away your users.

Found on reddit.. This works!
As others stated:
For anyone finding this post. One solution is to go into the settings of the Gallery, tapping on the arrow next to the account and opting to use the app without account.

PS: This is BY DESIGN. This practice has a name malicious UX design to trap people who don't care, old people, children..

Mr Lex Briones, are Gold Product Expert answers immune to downvotes?
I am talking about the one answer, not further comments. Being off the mark, it should be marked as unhelpful yet no downvote sticks.
Even if that is not your doing personally, it leaves a bad impression of you.
