When my friend was visiting we thought we could copy her google photos to a usb memory stick to save them but were unsuccessful. I think I may have been logged into her google account at the time. I really can't remember what I did. I do remember clicking on the word sync. All of my picutres go to her Iphone google photos. At 1st she got about 3000 of my photos. She has delete them but everytime I take a picture,she gets it. can you help resolve this?

I've gone into my google account and gone to settings but can't find anything that might help

Hi,

I am facing a similar issue.A number photos from my gallery are showing on my cousin's phone now..even after I deleted them from my Google photos.I don't remember ever logging onto my account from his fone.Can there be a chance that my Gmail is hacked or anything else I can try?

On my phone I have multiple accounts. I have one account for the sole purpose of backing up photos. So, my backup account is that backup account and not my main account. Maybe you have her account set up as your backup or maybe she has your backup account singed in on her phone. Deactivation all accounts from all devices and signing back in should resolve the issue.

In the Google Photos app on a mobile device there are two places where an account can be selected:

When you tap on the back-up account name or photo you can switch to another account to automatically upload ("Sync") photos from this device. The account you are actually connected to for viewing, editing, manually uploading, sharing etc.
You find that account either under the main menu or at the right end of the search box.
When you tap on the account name or photo you can add other accounts or switch between the accounts.
The account photos are automatically uploaded to.
You find that account in Main menu > Preferences > Backup & Sync.
When you tap on the back-up account name or photo you can switch to another account to automatically upload ("Sync") photos from this device.

As a result you can have different accounts under 1 and 2. When photos are automatically uploaded to a wrong account you have to select another one in Preferences > Backup & Sync (point 2).
