My issue involves me noticing a problem that others have that needs to be addressed by Google.   Regarding email notifications when a user shares a google photo album with another user, someone said that they accidentally pressed the unsubscribe button to not receive future email notifications.  They said they wanted to resubscribe to get email notifications so that they could join the shared google photo album and someone said that is not a feature that Google allows.  There seems to be no way to resubscribe to getting an email notification that a google photo album is shared with them.   This means that they can’t get access to the shared google photo album.  Please fix this!  There needs to be a way to resubscribe for all of us users out there.  Thanks!!

If you are talking about resubscribe to notifications in general, then I have a ticket open with Google and will let you know how I get on.
 
If you are talking about re-joining an album which you have left, then the dialogue clearly states that you cannot rejoin and a new album will have to be created and shared to you.

I think I am talking about resubscribe to notifications in general...what do you mean when you say, “...I have a ticket open with Google and will let you know how I get on.” ? Sorry, I don’t understand...maybe my English is not very good!

I have the same problem with one of my accounts. The Google Photos team do not provide technical support so I logged a fault with Google One support.
