I just want to be able to watch my GoPro videos on google photos. i.e. on my phone, pc and on the web. However, every video gets converted to slow motion which makes a 30 second clip about 2 minutes long and completely unwatchable.

Solution: ditch Google photos for videos and get a subscription with PCloud. No more problem

I'm also facing the same issue

I have the same issue.  All video I shoot in 120fps auto uploads and adds slow motion.  The video doesn't have any slow motion edits in it before the upload and auto does it after it is uploaded.

Probably that GoPro-speed is not compatible with Google Photos yet.
Normal videospeed is 60fps.

So you should complain via the feedback option in the main menu of https://photos.google.com because we can do nothing for you.

Same problem here with GoPro 960, 120fps video. It was played as a slow motion video and there is no way for me to play it normally. I can see this issue was reported as early as 2018, but Google seems paying no attention. What a pity.
