How do I remove Google photos from my Google account?

I would like to unsubscribe and remove Google photos from my Google account.

Hello Erika,
 
The safest way to delete from Google Photos is to delete the Google Photos app and delete the photos at https://photos.google.com
 
Camera roll photos will not be affected

Thank you Peter but unfortunately, when I do delete photos through Google photos site, it deletes it from ALL my devices. That is not what I want to happen. I just want to get out of and off of Google photos. Any other suggestions.

Does that mean you have Google Photos installed on those other devices?
