Hi, Gabriel Vasquez 4568
Welcome to Google Photos Community Support Forum & thanks for your query.
The editor in the Google Photos app allows corrections in the orientation of pictures.
To do so, please follow these steps through the phone app.
- Tap to open the picture
- Tap on the edit icon below the picture
- Tap on menu option Crop.
- Tap on the rotation symbol for achieving a turn through ninety degrees. Each successive tap will add ninety degrees going through 90 -> 180 -> 270 -> and again back to 360 degrees.
- That will help you correcting sideways or upside-down orientations.
- If you wish to fine-tune, move the slider above the rotation symbol. That helps in correcting slight misorientations at an increment of one degree.
However, if the pics captured through your camera need rotation correction, I suggest you either reinstall the camera app or seek the help of some repair technician.
