If you're a Pixel user, you can get more features in Google Photos, including Magic Editor. If an editing feature isn't listed here, it's available for all Google Photos users. Learn about other features.

Use Magic Editor
- Your device must have a 64-bit chipset with at least 4 GB of RAM and be running Android 8.0 and up.
- This feature is experimental and may not always work how you expect.
Edit a photo with Magic Editor
- On your Pixel device, open the Google Photos app .
- Tap on the photo that you want to edit.
- Tap Edit Magic Editor .
Apply contextual presets
- When you're in Magic Editor mode, tap Preset .
- Select a preset.
- To scroll through your options, swipe left.
- Tap the tick .
- If you want to continue to edit your photo, repeat steps 1–3.
- When you've finished with your edit, tap Save copy.
Move, erase or resize part of your photo
- When you're in Magic Editor mode, tap, draw a circle around or brush to select part of your photo.
- Zoom in for better accuracy.
- To move your selection, touch and hold, and drag it to the area that you want.
- To change the size of your selection, touch and hold, and pinch it with two fingers.
- To remove your selection, tap Erase.
- To apply the edit, tap the tick .
- If you want to continue to edit your photo, repeat steps 1–2.
- When you've finished with your edit, tap Save copy.
