Change or remove a merchant bank account

You cannot change your bank account information in your payments profile after you've verified it to get merchant payments. You can delete bank accounts, add bank accounts, and choose an existing one as your primary account to get merchant payments from Google.

Remove a bank account

To remove a bank account you've used to get merchant payments from Google, follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to your payments profile.
  2. Click Subscriptions.
  3. Find the product that has the bank account (the default name is "Merchant services"), then click Manage.
  4. Find How you get paid and click Choose payment method.
  5. Find the bank account you want to remove from your payments profile, then click Remove.
  6. To fully remove that payment method from your payments profile, on the screen that opens, click Remove again.
You cannot remove the only bank account from your payments profile that you’ve verified to get merchant payments. To remove your profile's only bank account, you must add and verify a new account and set it as your primary account, then remove the old one.
