- Open Google Pay .
- Tap New.
- Under "Suggested Businesses," tap More.
- If FASTag isn’t listed, tap More again.
- Tap FASTag Get started.
- Enter your account information.
- This Issuer bank is the bank that issued your FASTag. You can find the bank name on your FASTag sticker.
- In the "Link Account" page, enter your car's registration number without spaces.
- Example: AB01AB1234.
- Tap Next .
- Review the account information.
- Tap Link account.
Buy selective bank FASTag from Google Pay
- On your mobile device, open Google Pay .
- Under "Businesses," search for your FASTag bank.
- To find your FASTag bank, you can also enter it in the homepage search bar.
- Tap Buy new FASTag.
- Enter your details, which can include your:
- PAN
- Vehicle Registration Certificate
- Vehicle number
- Address
- Confirm your details.
- Verify your registered mobile number through a one-time password (OTP).
- To place your request, pay the required amount.
If your bank account is already linked to your FASTag account, you can top up your FASTag account through Google Pay:
- On your mobile device, open Google Pay .
- Go to the “Bill Payments” section.
- Under "Payment Categories," select FASTag recharge.
- In the FASTag section, select your FASTag issuer bank.
- Choose the FASTag account of the vehicle number.
- Tap Recharge.
- Enter the amount.
- To confirm, tap the Check mark .

The maximum recharge limit is:
- ₹2,000 INR per day for limited KYC FASTag customers.
- ₹1,00,000 INR for full KYC customers.
There are no transaction charges for FASTag recharges through UPI in Google Pay. Recharges done through debit cards, credit cards, or net banking may have payment gateway charges wherever applicable. The recharge limit can vary with the bank portal or application and the issuer bank.
