If you still face issues with a stuck transaction after you update the app:
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
- Confirm you have a valid bank account linked to Google Pay.
- Contact your bank to check for temporary transaction issues.
- Confirm if the recipient has a valid bank account linked to their Google Pay.
- Add an additional UPI ID if you experience issues with your primary UPI ID.
If you can’t send or receive money or the transaction fails, try the following.

If you're unable to send money
If you have an issue sending money, check for the following:
- Make sure you have an active internet connection.
- Make sure your Google Pay app is updated.
- Open the Google Play Store

- Check for updates to the Google Pay app

- Update the app.
- Open the Google Play Store
- Make sure you have a valid bank account linked on Google Pay. Learn how to add a bank account on Google Pay.
- Make sure your UPI ID is working.
- Check if you've reset the UPI PIN on Google Pay or any other UPI app.
- If you enter your UPI PIN incorrectly 3 times, you can’t make transactions through UPI for the next 24 hours. To proceed, you can either wait 24 hours to transact again or reset your UPI PIN immediately to make payments again.
- Confirm if the recipient has linked their bank account to their Google Pay app.
- Confirm your bank's daily transaction limit for the day and other bank-related issues.
- Contact your bank to confirm there are no issues with your bank account.

- If you send money by scanning a QR code, make sure your device’s camera is functional and you don’t send more than ₹2,000.
- As per NPCI guidelines, you can’t send more than ₹2,000 INR through the “Scan QR” page.
- If you send money directly to a bank account, check if you’ve entered the right details for the receiver’s bank account number and IFSC code.
If you’re still unable to send money after you check the steps listed above:
- Try to make payments with another bank account.
- Reach out to your bank for the next steps.
If you're unable to receive money
If you have an issue receiving money, check for the following:
- Make sure you have a valid bank account on Google Pay.
- Make sure your Google Pay app is up to date.
