Why doesn't my title show up when I search for it?
Why doesn’t my title appear in the New Releases section?
The New Movie/TV Releases section on the homepage shows recent highlights. This automated collection is algorithmically generated and dynamically updated based on several factors, including popularity and recency, so your title might not necessarily appear there.
If it does appear when you search for it but it's not showing up in a prominent place and as high up as you'd expect, it may be a caching issue or a store refresh lag. It always takes a few hours for a title, no matter how popular, to climb up to the top. Please note that this collection is completely automated, i.e. the algorithm decides the position of the titles mainly based on popularity but also recency and personal profiles.
If a top title is still not appearing after a few hours, please contact the Google support team.

How can I see content on Google Play in other territories?
- gl = country store
- hl = language
Both work independently from each other as well, for example French language on the Switzerland store. Purchases won't be possible from outside of the country you're in, but you should be able to see what's being merchandised or live in any given territory.
How do I market with Google Play?
How do I get a strike-through price for a title?
When the price at which content is offered is lowered, the storefront will show that lower price along with the struck-through previous (higher) price that was in place in the 30 day period prior to the price being lowered.
Prices can be lowered by content owners in two ways:
- the content owner submits a new avail offering the content at a lower price; or
- the content owner runs a temporary promotion offering the content at a lower price.
Restrictions
- Strike-through pricing explicitly driven by overlapping avail windows is not currently supported.
- Strike-through pricing based on price history is not supported in Japan.

How do I create an effective details page?
Submitting complete and comprehensive metadata when you avail your titles gives our system more information to feature and promote them when they’re live. We have a list of what’s required (see below two links) but in general it's: the more metadata, the better.
Also, make sure your artwork is meeting our Movie artwork and TV artwork specifications.
Suggesting changes to Google ‘Knowledge Panel’ results in Google search
Knowledge panels are automatically generated from the Google Knowledge Graph with information that comes from various sources. Entities (people, places or things that are subjects of knowledge panels) can also contribute, after they have been verified.
If you are an authorized representative for an entity, you can suggest changes to the knowledge panel by following these steps.
