About AllowedLanguage
Use this column to specify all languages that may be fulfilled for the line item. This column should not be populated if HoldbackLanguage is present.
Important
Use AllowedLanguages to avail the complete language sets and instructions all at once. Use HoldbackLanguage when there are languages with a different release window.
Using AllowedLanguages
There are 70 Languages that are currently supported on Google Play
- When AllowedLanguages is left blank, this specifies that ALL languages are able to be published
- Availing as 'blank' is the same thing as availing all 70 language codes, comma-separated in the AllowedLanguages field
- When AllowedLanguages is populated with specific language codes, ONLY those languages (and any specified localization types) are able to be published
- Once a title goes live, you are only able to add additional Language codes to the avail
- Make sure to avail any new Language codes + the previous Language codes you provided, so the avail knows you are adding and not trying to remove
- If you avail a title with AllowedLanguages as 'blank', then the title goes live, the system views this as all 70 languages are allowed; meaning you cannot include any individual language codes for the title since you would be removing the previous languages
-
1st Avail upload: AllowedLanguages = "en, de"
