In order to enable local inventory ads or free local listings in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland, you must submit an impressum (about page) for each applicable country.
An impressum has specific requirements in accordance with Article 5 of the EU E-Commerce Directive as implemented by local laws. These requirements mandate that the webpage hosted at your impressum must contain the following information:
- A physical address
- Contact information, such as phone number and/or email address
- The location where your company is registered
- Any industry-specific registration, license, or authorization
You can also use this page to display any additional information, such as information required by local laws.
Keep in mind that local inventory ads or free local listings can't appear in Austria, Germany, or Switzerland without a verified impressum (about page).
Provide your impressum
If you have already onboarded into local inventory ads or free local listings, follow the steps below to provide your impressum:
In your Merchant Center account, click the Settings & tools icon ![Tools and setting menu icon [Gear]](//storage.cloud.google.com/support-kms-prod/vyDyoYvlunmkVyVjH9CZTw60xwyZpzKoWuPC?authuser=3)
. Then, select Add-ons.
Select your add-ons.
In the “Local inventory ads” or "Free local listings" card, click Go to Local inventory ads or Go to Free local listings.
Click Show me next to the country you want to add your impressum.
Select Add impressum (about page).
Add the URL of the impressum page on your online store.

Pickup today review status
After providing the example product URL, Google will review the landing page to ensure it has all the requirements. Follow the steps below to see the status:
In your
Merchant Center account, click the
Settings & tools icon
. Then, select
Add-ons.
Select your add-ons.
In the “Local inventory ads” or "Free local listings" card, click
Go to Local inventory ads or
Go to Free local listings.
Click
Show me next to the country you want to view status.
Select
Add impressum (about page).
Check the icon next to your impressum URL.
Your pickup today status may show:
- Verified: No further action needed.
- Under review: Check back soon. The URL for your web page is under review. This process can take up to a week.
- Request review: Google reviewed and rejected your URL. Ensure that your URL meets the impressum requirements and make any necessary updates. Then, re-submit your impressum URL.
- Action required: An invalid URL has been submitted. Review and update the provided link and click Save.
