Reasons why the issue is happening
Some of your products are missing shipping costs. These products will remain disapproved until you provide a shipping cost for the item.
Shipping costs are defined using the account-level shipping settings, or adding the shipping [shipping]
attribute for each product.
It’s recommended to set up shipping settings at the account level, and then, if necessary, override your account shipping settings for specific products when they have different shipping requirements using the shipping [shipping]
attribute.
How to fix the issue
Add a shipping cost to the affected products.
Fix shipping settings for your whole account
Go to Shipping and returns in Merchant Center, under "Your Business".
Click Add shipping information.
Configure your shipping information.
[shipping_weight]
, shipping length [shipping_length]
, shipping width [shipping_width]
, and shipping height [shipping_height]
data.Select Save.
Fix shipping settings using the shipping attribute
Go to Products in Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.
Use the filter icon above the table to find all products affected by your issue.
Select the Download icon to download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues or this particular issue.
Cross-reference the downloaded list with your uploaded product data and ensure that for these products a valid product level shipping setting is applied via the shipping [shipping]
attribute.
Note: It may also be necessary to update the shipping weight [shipping_weight]
, shipping length [shipping_length]
, shipping width [shipping_width]
, and shipping height [shipping_height]
data.
Reupload your corrected product data to Merchant Center using your chosen upload method.

After making the requested changes, check that you’ve fixed the issue by making sure it’s no longer listed on the “Needs attention” page.
