View history

This animation shows you how to view your product status history in Google Merchant Center Next.

Access historical changes in the status of your products. At the top of the page, beside the “Show all fixes” button, click View history to open a table that shows the latest product status and status history.

This information can help you better evaluate your current inventory status. You can set filters on the table to adjust for time period, country, and product type (with ads or without ads). You can also filter by product status. Scroll over the table to view snapshot metrics for specific dates and times.

Automatic fixes

Automatic fixes is a feature that offers you a way to apply persistent rules to product data, which can help correct errors present in the base data. If there’s a suggestion available for you, you’ll have an option to “Apply automatic fix’’ on the issue cards on the “Needs attention” page.

  • Click Fix to apply the fix to the affected products.
  • Click View products to view the affected products.
  • Click Learn more, if available, to view a support article with more details about the issue.

Suggested attribute values

This feature provides suggestions as an actionable path towards fixing product data attribute values. If there’s a suggestion available for you, an issue card will be shown on the "Needs attention" page with the available suggestions and the number of products.

  • Click Fix to view the suggested attribute values. You can then review and accept individual suggestions.
  • Click View products to see the affected products.
  • Click Learn more, if available, to view a support article with more details about the issue.

Before accepting the suggestions, we encourage you to confirm that the suggestions are indeed accurate by verifying them with the data on your landing page.

Once you accept a suggestion it gets added to the product, and you’ll get a confirmation message after closing the dialog box. Fixes applied will override subsequent changes that you made using another method for adding products. For example, if you uploaded your products using a file, a change made in the product editor will override the change in the file.

To view or revert edits that have been applied, navigate to the “Product details” page and click Edit product.
