Learn about Business Manager

You can add and manage some Google apps for your business directly in Business Manager. By adding Google apps to Business Manager, you are automatically connecting all apps to one another.

For example, if you connect Google Ads, Merchant Center and Google Business Profile to Business Manager, you can access features such as local and online product management in Merchant Center or promote your local and online stores in Merchant Center or Google Ads.

  • Apps You can add Google apps like Google Ads, Google Business Profile and view third-party apps like Shopify and Paypal. You control how much data you want to share with apps.
  • Stores: You can add and edit your store's Business Profiles for Search and Maps.
  • People and access You can view people with access to your apps, and you can add and edit people's access to the apps you use. You can change a person's access to multiple apps at one time.

Get to Business Manager

You can get to Business Manager from Merchant Center, Business Profile, Google Ads or your email invitation.

Give super admin access

Super admins hold the highest access to the connected apps and can manage apps, people, and their access to apps for your business. If you sign up for Business Manager with your Google Account, you automatically gain super admin access to the Business Manager profile. In the People and access tab, you can also designate other people in your business as super admins. Learn how to manage your business as a super admin.

As a super admin, you can add or remove:

  • Another super admin
  • Admins and other people with access to apps
  • Google apps and services
  • Store's Business Profiles
Tip: Users for your business's Google apps have view-only access in Business Manager. Their permissions in the individual Google Accounts remain the same.

Edit your Business Manager profile name

  1. On your device, open Business Manager.
  2. At the top left, next to the Business Manager profile name, click Edit Edit.
  3. Update the business name.

  4. Click Save.
Tip: If you have multiple businesses, click your Business Manager profile name, click Edit Edit
