How it works
During affiliate programme setup, you have the option to establish a base commission rate. The default commission rate applies to all products shared with Google Merchant Center and offered to all creators in the affiliate programme.
Requirements
The commission rate should be equal to or greater than the rate that you offer on other affiliate programmes.
To incentivise creators to tag your products, we encourage you to set your commission rates competitively. While commission rates can vary depending on the product category, median commission rates in the YouTube Shopping affiliate programme were around 15%, whereas the bottom 25% of commission rates were at 10% or less.
