How to fix: Invalid shipping region

Submit a region, state, territory, or prefecture (ISO 3166-2) for countries that are supported by Google

Why this issue is happening

The value you submitted for the region [region] sub-attribute isn’t valid. Region [region] is an optional sub-attribute for the shipping [shipping] attribute.

Note: Regions are only supported in some countries. To learn where you can submit the region [region] sub-attribute, visit the Shipping [shipping] page.

How to fix the issue

To fix this issue, submit a valid region, state, territory, or prefecture. Enter a subdivision code from the ISO 3166-2 code tables without a country prefix (for example, NY, NSW, 03).

Fix multiple products at once

Step 1 Navigate to Products in Merchant Center, then select the Needs attention tab.

Step 2 Use the filter icon  above the table to find all products affected by your issue.

Step 3 Select the Download icon to download a list (.csv) of all affected products for all issues or this particular issue.

Step 4 Cross reference the downloaded list with your uploaded product data, and make sure that each affected product has a supported value for the region [region] sub-attribute.

Step 5 Reupload your corrected product data to Merchant Center using your chosen upload method.

Next steps

After making the requested changes, check that you’ve fixed the issue by making sure it’s no longer listed on the “Needs attention” page.

Keep in mind: It may take some time for your change to be reflected on the “Needs attention” page.
