Schedule and share Merchant Center reports

Share your reports via automatic scheduled email.

Report scheduling will no longer be available in Merchant Center starting January 15, 2024. This means you won’t be able to schedule reports to be delivered to you or others on a regular basis.

Here are some things you can do to get ready:

  • Identify any reports that you currently schedule
  • Look to manually download those reports on a regular basis in the future and save them to a location where you can easily access them
  • Consider using the Reporting API as an alternative method for ingesting data programmatically
  • Share reports with others manually, if needed

You can send a copy of your Merchant Center report to others on a regular basis by setting up scheduled emails.

Instructions

Create new scheduled emails

  1. Sign in to your Merchant Center account.
  2. From the navigation panel, click Performance, and then Your reports.
  3. View the report or dashboard you want to schedule.
  4. In the upper right, click Clock.
  5. Select which Merchant Center users or email contacts will receive the report.
  6. Set the format in which the report or dashboard will be sent.
  7. Set the delivery frequency.
  8. Set the time at which the report or dashboard will be sent.
  9. Click Save.
Tip: If you don’t see an email address you want to send a report to, you can add it as an email contact by first going to "Settings", then "Account access".

Change an existing email schedule

  1. Sign in to your Merchant Center account.
  2. From the navigation panel, click Performance, and then Your reports.
  3. View the report or dashboard you want to reschedule.
  4. In the upper right, click Clock.
  5. Enter the new schedule details.

Stop a scheduled email

  1. Sign in to your Merchant Center account.
  2. From the navigation panel, click Performance, and then Your reports.
  3. View the report or dashboard you want to stop a schedule for.
  4. In the upper right, click Clock.
  5. Click Remove schedule.
Note: You can also create or modify a schedule by clicking Edit under “Schedule” in “Your reports”.

How email scheduling works

Scheduled emails deliver a download link for a report or dashboard on a regular basis. You can include other recipients by entering individual email addresses or group email aliases, but they must first be registered as users or email contacts.

Limits of scheduled email

  • Currently, a report or dashboard can only have one email schedule.
  • The link sent by email to users to download the report or dashboard requires authentication (i.e. it’s not a shareable link) and expires after 31 days.
  • The download link sent via email doesn’t require authentication (i.e. it’s a shareable link) and expires after 7 days.
  • For privacy reasons, only Merchant Center users and email contacts can be selected as recipients. If you don’t see an email address you want to send a report to, you can add it as an email contact by first going to "Settings", then "Account access".
  • The email schedule is based on your account’s timezone. You can change it by going to "Settings", then "Account Settings", then "Time zone and language".
