How to fix: Missing contact information on your online store

Show at least a business address, phone number, email, contact form, or social media business profile on your online store. Also, add your business phone number on the Business information page in Merchant Center.

Reasons why the issue is happening

Your account has been suspended because valid contact information is missing from:

  • Your store website
  • Your Merchant Center account
  • Both your website and your Merchant Center account

Either your store website is missing the required contact information and/or you haven't yet provided a verified phone number or physical business address in Merchant Center.


How to fix the issue

To resolve this issue and get your ads and listings up and running, add the missing contact information on your website and provide a verified phone number and business address in Merchant Center.

Step 1

Step 1 Ensure you’ve provided at least one form of contact that is reachable and easily visible prior to checkout on your website. Common forms of contact include:

  • Webpages: Chat feature, contact-us form
  • Business information: Address, phone number, and email address
  • Social links: Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp (cannot lead to a private group or page; it is okay to require platform login)

Step 2

Step 2 Go to Your business in Merchant Center, and select the Business details tab. Then, click Edit business details and/or Edit online store to submit your business information to meet our standard business verification requirements.

Step 3

Step 3 Verify your phone number.


Next steps

After making the requested changes, we will review your website and/or account for compliance. 

If your account or product gets disapproved you can either fix the problem and request a review, or disagree with the issue and request a review. There may be additional steps you can take, such as verification options, depending on the issue.

If the review is successful, your issue will disappear. In some cases, there's a limit on how many reviews you can request. This limit will be specified.

If the disapproval remains and you’re uncertain with how to proceed, contact us for support.

Note: If you use a third-party platform to list your products, you may also be able to go to your third-party application to request a review.
