AR Effects on Google Meet Web

Hello All,

We’re excited to announce that our catalog of AR effects many of you have already tried on Meet (or Duo) for mobile are now available on the web! You can now access a variety of new AR effects on Google Meet on the web. These filters can help bring an element of fun to meetings. The effects can be found in the effects panel and can be added before or during a call. 

We aspire to  provide a wider range of effects to our web users, allowing them to engage and have delightful experiences during meetings and to receive general feedback on AR filters across platforms. 

This feature is currently available to consumers only but will be rolling out to Enterprise and Educational customers soon with controls for availability in their organizations via an admin setting.
