Invite people to a meeting

In Hangouts Meet, you can invite people before or after a meeting starts. Guests can be inside or outside of your organization.

People inside your organization can always join as long as they’re signed in to their G Suite account (such as their Gmail account at work or school).

Someone from your organization must grant access to external guests when they try to join, unless the external Google Accounts are added to a Calendar event or they’re invited during a video meeting.

People who manually dial in are prompted for a PIN.

Add guests to a Google Calendar event

  1. Open Calendar and edit an existing event.
  2. Add guests from inside or outside your organization.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Click Send to add the meeting link and notify guests.
